Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Besides price, does anyone know what the difference is between Win XP Pro upgrade educational edition and the standard Win XP Pro Upgrade? Cheers

Chalk got it in one, the only difference beyond the type of licence it is, happens to be the price they charge. The idea is to get you hooked on it while your a student and then you wont change over to other programs later on.

Cool. Cheap prices all the way.

There may also be a clause in the licenses of some Academic versions that you can't use it once you are no longer a student, then again they change their t&c's so often that even people who sell microsoft licenses for a living can go on three day courses on licensing.
