    Hi all,

Got 2 friends who work from home and are moving to Glenville in Co. Cork.
With reference to the Eircom trigger program pre-reqs; Population by census of 2002 is ~350 people, but a new large housing development has pushed this upwards to ~750 people. A smaller village due North of them, Killavullen has DSL already.

They have just been hit with bad news that the Glenville exchange is only PSTN-enabled, not even ISDN, never mind DSL!

Anyone got a recent DSL rollout list by any chance? What is there best way to go about fighting to get some sort of wideband/broadband product to their door?

If none of the above, what 2-way Satellite product would you recommend?

Thanks in advance, any help appreciated,
    James.

Carrigtwohill which wasn't even on the roll out list, got enabled about a month ago, with no anouncement.

Its population was around 2000 at the last census and had over the 1500 in 1996, but got left off the roll out programme because it was split over two entries in the census.

So you never know when a town will get enabled.......... Good luck.

    Wille
