    Anyone using a Mac Mini? If so, what do you think? Would you recommend it to a friend? Any shortcomings? etc........

    i have the 40 gig model.. not had time to use it much since i got it. (just have to lay some lan cable under floorboards!) but one thing im dissapointed with is its ram 256 on board is quite sluggish at times.. thinking of uprading it

    I have one, Spec is in my signature. Actually I’m very impressed with it, So yes I would recommend it but then again I only got one cos I wanted experience of OS X, Really depends what your friend wants to use it for. However I would recommend getting the 512mb of RAM OS X needs it.

    You're right I'm talking about the box and not the OS but I can start a new thread there if that's more appropriate.
