Updating control in "Downloaded Program Files"

Hi folks, Web question for ye - I have setup a website on a machine and the First time a User goes to the site, a Dll is download tho the users "Downloaded Program Files" folder. (Tis for Excel reports). What I would like is, if I update that Dll with additonal code(more reports), that the next time the client logs into…

Hi folks, Web question for ye -

What I would like is, if I update that Dll with additonal code(more reports), that the next time the client logs into the site, it would detect that a newer version of the Dll exists and downloads it.

Has anyone done this before? Is it even possbile?
