Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Two big matches tonight, firstly in United, sorry O2, no sorry, United park. Unbeaten defending champions Shels take on Drogheda who after a slowish start still have title aspirations of their own, if they can be the first team to beat Shels in the league this season they'll go some way to confirming their status as genuine challengers to Shelbournes crown. Shelbourne are without Hawkins, Hoolahan, Baker, Crowe and O'Neill (And Ndo? Who knows?). Fitzpatrick is back available however as is Crawford, so expect Crawford (Or Ndo? Who knows?) to play alongside Stuey with Ryan on the right and either Moore or Cahill on the left, Fitzpatrick and Byrne up front, Harris will slot back into the defence.

Dan Connor is out for Drogheda but their Finnish international mid fielder Ristila is back after a ban, he's a good player, a bit under rated I think. Otherwise it's full strenght for them, I still think they're one 20 goal a season striker away from a real title push (And they have money to spend in the window so watch that space) but if O'Brien and co are on form tonight they'll cause Shels all sorts of problems.

The other big game is the aul munster derby. Murphy has departed for Sunderland I think, so that's a huge huge loss for Waterford. Both teams are otherwise fairly injury free so this could be the match of the night, Munster derbys are difficult to call, you'd expect Cork to shade it but you never know. Doherty returns for Waterford tonight so hopefully he'll do his employers a favour and take points off our challengers.

As for the rest, Bohs will need 3 points against Longford, no two ways about it, they should get it too Longford have been fairly hopeless every time I've seen them this season. Pats v Rovers is always one worth watching and both need the points to ease them away from relegation worrys, with the onform McCourt playing anything can happen. Incidentally I can link to his two goals last week to download for anyone who missed them you WILL want to see them, absolute magic, espically the second.

Bray v Derry is a tough one to call, Derry need to get some momentum back after their early season form, though a title chase was always a tad on the ambitious side they can push for a European spot and they could do with 3 points tonight to kick start that chase. Bray are doing very well and are always tough to beat at home however.

So all that means is, Come on Shels and come on Waterford! :)
