Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Trying to think of dos command I came across in college to test an LPT port, something like >print "hello world" lpt1. Anyone know the correct syntax?
    Thanks in advance.

    Found it. FYI.

PRINTER CONNECTED TO PARALLEL PORT LPT1:

At the DOS prompt, send a directory listing to the printer by typing the following:

    dir > lpt1

RESULT: The current directory listing will be printed on the printer attached to the LPT1 parallel port.

on laser printers you may also have to send a line feed.

    echo ^L > LPT1

    (the ^L is Ctrl-L btw)
