Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ozzfest back again?

    just heard a roumer that ozzfest was gonna be back in ireland this year (2005) went on to ticketmaster then it said tickets not currently available omnline and i was wondering if anyone can tell me if its on or not,cuz ive been missing it so much since i went for my first metal show ever in 2002.

    If it goes ahead I'd say with seeing as he cancelled the last time.

    Equally possible that the festival will just continue with the name as a brand rather than Ozzy playing

    well is there an ozzfest tour? all i've heard of is the saturday at download being ozzfest day.

    I heard they are calling the whole Download festival Ozzfest now :rolleyes:

    I heard that dogs have four arses.

    Ozzfest is still goign strong in America every summer.
    The only real success they had outside of America was going to England.
    In 2002 they attempted an Ozzfest European tour...it flopped.

    From what I know which may be wrong (but seems like the most logical thing) is that from now on, instead of hauling all the ozzfest gear over to England for just one date, the bands will go instead, seperartly and perform as a part of the Download festival.

    Yisser thoughts?

    I think thats what they did over here when Metallica came the first time!!
    I heard they were sent from the Reading festival!! Dunno if its true though but it seems likely!!! :)

    I think they played as part of Reading Ireland, where a few bands from the Reading lineup come here to play an extra show while they're in the neighbourhood.
