Im going to get my tongue done in a few weeks when my parents go away, but im so confused bout where to go?? i have only heard of 3 places snakebite, body shock and celestial ring. is there any others??

Hay dont be too quick to judge this persons parents just might not approve of piercings thus having to get it when there away! Dont automatically assume the person is too young!

In regards to where to go any of the place listed above are good and if you need help finding them just ask!

There are loads more, not that you need to know about them though because you cant go wrong with the ones you listed.

i agree!!if you are too young and you're looking for someone who will pierce you without parental consent, then be careful....cos they might do a **** piercing on you!!

Snakebite's the place! I've had everything done there and they're really cool guys.
They even complimented me on how "pretty" my nipple looked after they pierced it!

well use i rang up celestial ring to day just to see if i can get done (im 17yrs) with a parental consent and they said no that they wouldnt cause im not 18?
like i will hav a adult with me but they still wont.
i tried ringing snakebite but there was no answer?
do u know if snakebite will?
my friend got hers done in metal morophosis in temple bar and she like'd it there?? i was thinking of going there??

interesting that they wouldn't do it with parental consent...hmmm? In regards to Metal morphosis we've discussed it before and alot of people had some bad expieriences in the place but if your willing to take the chance go for it!

To the best of my knowledge its not the size of the tongue but something to do with a vein that goes through it(correct me please if im mistaken) and if you just go into any piercing place they should check that for you immediatly before performing the piercing!

I've seen Snakebite pierce people under 18 with consent but they won't pierce anyone too young.

hmmm...i think itr's more to do with the tongue web under neath the tongue, rather than the vain....some people have a really big tongue web, that extends out to nearly the tip of they're tongue and then they can't be done...but the vains in your tongue have a part to play too!!!!


umm..i think bodyshock will probably do it for you, if you have parental consent!

well i rang like snakebite and they said that they wouldn'1 unless i was 18 but i could just chance it cause they dont ask for i.d all the time.
also i got a e-mail back from celestial ring and they said that they would do it if i was 17 and had a parent with me(Hope my sister will do)!!!! so im going to get it done there.

We aren't dickheads for not piercing you. We aren't out to thwart your plans. We are trying to do our jobs. I stood in Celestial Ring and listened while you tried to con our piercer into piercing you without parental consent, and he was having none of it.

Lets consider what happens if you get your piercing, and your parents take exception to it when they arrive home...and complain to the shop....One of us could lose our jobs.

So don't ask us to go out on a limb for you, when you are just some selfish, childish randomer, whose only concern is why you can't have your way.

Don't screw with people's livelyhoods, its just not on.

Careful now some forum people will accuse you of discriminating on the basis of age........but they're dicks....who think you're out to spoil peoples fun, and couldn't care less what standards exist in the industry or the state of regulation.
That is the reason you do it isn't it.....it's not so that you dont get dragged to court for molesting children it's cos you are big spoil sports.........I know ye.... all sly and conniving......not wanting to let us into your private club......ad infinitum......

Emm sorry are u reffering to me in person....because it sounds like you are.

i am the person who was in with use on sunday the 26th and asked to get my tongue done but use said no cause i had no parent consent, i wasnt trying to con anybody into anything i simply thought use would do it as Delores e-mail said i could if i had a parent OR GUARDIAN present so i think my sister is classed as my guardian when my parents are away.

and by the way i got my tongue pierced that day elsewhere as and it was a very plesent experience.....(and by the way it wasnt Georges st arcade) but another very good piercing parlour. so it was yr loss.
i was thinking of going to use again for other piercings and get loads of tongue bars but because of this message i dont think i like use any more and i might even ring and complain.

Your underage...what are you gonna complain about, that he has just made a point and told you off for trying to con them into piercing you?
It's not a very good arguement...trying to be mature enough to get pierced and then getting insulted cos you get told off for being too young.
I hate to say rules are there for a reason, since I've been getting pierced since a pretty young age...but just imangine if there was no age limit...

em i can complain that she is reffering to me in person(if she is) and excuse me as i already told her i was not trying to con anybody.........the woman who runs the shop(delores) in the green said it was fine if i had a parent or GUARDIAN present and i see my sister as a legal guardian when my parents are away. and i had her e-mails to prove it.
and sorry but yr man did insult me or say i was to young he just said that he didnt see my sister as a legal guardian and i would hav to wait till my parents come back. so whoever that stupid yolk was at the front desk clearly didnt know much bout her job as she had to run and get some1 in charge.
and like i ****ing care that they didnt do it.......they welll knew that i was going to get it done somewhere els if they didnt do it....so i think it was their loss in the end of the day....

I was indeed refering to you in person, and I am the *other* yoke on the desk. I wouldn't have gotten the piercer, I just would have told you no. It doesn't matter whether or not YOU feel that your sister is your guardian - in the eyes of the law she ISN'T.

Don't go around asking people to risk their jobs for you - its just childish. If other parlours are willing to pierce you - fine. As long as they won't fire some one for letting it happen....

Im 15 too and hope that you arent being serious when you said this. Age limits are there to protect you and the piercist, if your parents dont approve and it got infected it would definately put you in a bad place. Also a tongue piercing is a lot different to getting the top of your ear done. ok there was a point to this a while ago but now i seem to have lost it and made quite a rambleing rant out of it
