What's the difference between Jacko and a plastic bag?

One's white, plastic and should be kept away from children and the other is for carrying groceries.

The other posters were banned because of more offensive jokes.

The following are considered "no go" areas for your postings here to the Humour Board...

    Pornography
    Dead Baby Jokes
    Racist Jokes
Links to Mature Content or Rotten websites
Jokes making fun of issues regarding Paedophiles, Child abuse (suspected or proven)
    etc...

this is quoted from the charter, which do you think applies

at least we got to see the joke before it gets deleted! cos i hate that when ya see people laughing at jokes and you dont see it before the mods do!

this is hardly a banning offence, since when was stating the truth something to be ashamed of ;)

michael jackson is crap at carrying groceries, scrawny arms.

There was nothing implied in this joke. It's simply saying that he should be kept away from Children. Nothing in the charter about that !!.

It was never implied that he is a Paedophile.

I agree, hardly going to get banned tbh.

I'm sorry if I caused controversey with this joke, but I didn't mean to imply Jacko ias a paedophile; that's not something you joke about. Maybe we need to ask those you got that meaning from it why they did? I'll close it if a moderator sees necessary.

I would imagine people may have gotten that impression because he is currently in court on these charges, and has long since been suspected of these charges by many people.

If that's not what the joke is about, can you enlighten us?

All jokes are "offensive" in that they make fun of some poor bástard just to give the rest of us a bit of a laugh.

IMHO it's madness to ban Jacko Jokes as a genre.

Political correctness gone mad I say. :(

Next thing Quasimodo's decendants will start complaining everytime I tell a hunchback joke.

Notice how the end of that link says....ped a feel......hmmmm

Can I ask a little question? Why do people feel that they need to complain about just about everything on boards? This includes stuff they "apparently" find offensive on here - although I doubt they would in the real world - and stuff they bitch about just to post something. I've said it before and I'll say it again, the "new posts" button is a curse because it allows people to see posts that they ordinarily have no interest in posting in but yet do so out of boredom. Your man above replied saying that the OP was probably gonna get banned and he hoped that he enjoyed his time on boards to date.....Did Glipmac really race enough to say that, is he som interested in the politics of boards and the correctness of the joke....or was he just bored....or maybe he has aspirations about being a moderator with an illusion of power.

Of course, as is the way...someone will reply to this post in just the same way. Like all those people who reply to a post with "Been posted before tbh" or a beratting of a joke....or whatever....maybe people should stick to posting in a forum they're actually interested in.

Or maybe I should shut up?

Watch the person with the imagination tell me I should shut up.
