Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following on from Optimo DJs, Swiss DJ Robi Insinna better known as Headman will be the next to the
prestigious ranks of Backlash's international guest portfoilio when he plays a DJ set as part of the Bud
Rising Festival on Thursday 02 June.
Probably best known for his recent 'Dance Modern' mix on the widely respected label Eskimo which which
features tracks from artists such as Le Dust Sucker, Edwin Laliq, Rex The Dog, Franz Ferdinand, alongside
older tracks from Divine, Lene Lovich and New Fast, its a mix of obscure new wave and disco meets acid
and electro which is probably a good indicator of what to expect from Robi's set at Backlash

Headman is also well known for his prolific remix work , he's turned out mixes for Franz Ferdinand,
Annie, Jasper Dahlbak, Cut Copy, Reverso 68, Radio 4, Trash Palace and The Rapture to name just a few.
His punk-funk remix for 'Seelenluft's 'Manila' attained ‘Single Of The Month’ status in Dazed And Confused.
Robi currently has two projects on the go, one is the afore mentioned Headman releases but he also records
under the moniker of Manhead. 'As I see it', Robi says, 'Headman was my imaginary band. We were playing all
that weird new wave, no wave, disco punk stuff. It was more concrete conceptually. Manhead was always
designed to be more poppy, more electronic. I wanted it to be balearic, disco, cosmic. That was the original intention'.
'Manhead's 'Birth, School, Work, Death' track has been a Backlash favourite ever since its release,
His debut self titled album has just been released on his own Relish imprint to great reviews and focuses on a
dubby acid disco sound, not disimmilar to some of Chicken Lips work and the next Headman album is near
completion featuring vocals from Steph Dewaele from Soulwax and Anthony from Radio 4.
