I think we'll get a better idea of the costing after the show at E3. Bear in mind that the first Xbox cost €480 at launch!!!!!

From what I hear the hd is an optional add on. In otherwords if you want the console cheaper you can go without the hd.

You can upgrade the hd, its swapable, i.e. clips out, new one clips in. This will be great for mates bringing over an mp3 collection or games stored on the hd. Also the xbox accessory counters now will be equipped with hard drives available over the counter same way as controllers and remote controlls etc... are

No TiVO functionality. Shoul be possible to add at a later stage if they're willing.

Definitely, the only thing stopping PVR on the original modded xbox is the lack of USB2.0.

Apparently the aim is that all games will be backwardly compatible. They are going to ensure the most popular ones will definitely work. You can read more here.

I know this is kind of irrelevant, but I have one of the very few limited edition 360 Faces that were made solely for the 360 Launch Party. Only bout 20 or 30 were given out. I feel so much better than everyone else :D ...course all I need now is a damn 360...curses.

And this would make me buy one alone, it's so nasty having to get up and turn something off. I really am that lazy. 'Course if it had a cd/dvd/whatever-format-the-games-are changer it'd be even better.
