    10 grand cash to spend. What should I buy ;)

    Prequisities :-

    * daycent manufacturer - no Rovers/MGs thanks :D
    * Petrol - 1.6 -> 2.0 or Diesel - 1.9 -> 2.5 TD
    * Must be capable of carrying an astra saloon boot full of stuff.
    * Must be capable of driving on lesser standard roads, and maybe off them.

    Other than that, i'm open to offers of opinions...

    So you are looking for an off-roader, or at least some off-road capabilities?

    For €10k you can pick up a decent Subaru Forester. The 2.0 liter turbo (170bhp) is the best pick

    I'd have to agree with unkel. You can't get many other good cars with off road capabilities for 10K. Try www.cbg.ie for Foresters
