All this how powerful each machine is talk is making me sick. Its like watching two professional male porn stars come in and drop their pants to compare penis sizes. Then when they cant outmatch that way they name all the positions they can do.

PlayStation 3's hardware has gotten a little more detailed. The main CELL processor included will run at 3.2GHz, and feature 7 SPEs. The nVidia GPU will run at 550MHz, and there will be two 256MB RAM sticks included, for a total of 512MB. PS3 will have robust multimedia support, including: video chat, internet access, digital photo viewing, digital audio and video playback.

so which one is correct? 700mhz or 550?

That's a bit confusing tbh... they compare flops with a PC, which is pants since most of the flops used by PC games are offloaded to the gfx card which eats them for brecky afaik... no point in benching a PC's CPU along side a console unless you include the gfx card which is essentially a co-processor.
Seems like a really bad comparison, unless I'm waaay off here.

NVidia is working with Sony on the "RSX Reality Synthesizer" for the PS3. It will be able to produce "movie quality" graphics at 60 FPS.
