Spotted this in Longford this morning, and followed him to get a picture. Originally a horrible shade of brown, the owner told me.

I met him in Athlone yesterday at the side of the road, rummaging around. Turns out, he got the gearshifter welded recently and that snapped off. But he had a replacement in the car :)

    Anyhow ...

A few highlights from the Limerick Classic and VW Show today.

I wonder, what he brought to the show, since this is his towing vehicle.

And I've never seen as many T3's, nevermind VW vans at one show in Ireland. Sure .. at a festival, but never at a show.

It could have been worse though. At least the day was semi clear and not a complete wash out.

Not quite today, but from an SD card I accidentally came across today with a photo of a beautiful RA28 Celica from the Baltinglass classic show in 2011.

No picture, but yesterday met a guy in a W123 Estate. Bronze colour with wood grain side stickers, like some American Rambler estate. MIX 600, I think. Cavan area.

59 CE 20 is a Renault Floride, belongs to a friend of mine. Started its working life in Sth. Africa then the UK and finally to Irl where it changed hands a few times before being restored by its current owner. It has a Dauphine engine fitted as the original one was scrap having sucked in so much red sand from the desert

There was a nice show on in Bray, only a small few cars; 20-ish. As I was leaving I was passed by a few more going in though. Some lovely cars there all the same.

I was wondering where I got the Caravelle from

The Renault Caravelle was produced by Renault between 1958 and 1968. Outside of North America and Britain it was, until 1962,marketed under the nameplate Renault Floride.
