Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

AFAIK the DVLA in england dont issue 666 anymore, someone said this to me before i think.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,694 ✭✭✭✭L-M

AFAIK they dont issue that number anymore,i remember someone telling me this, cant verify it though.

We sold a yoke last year with 4666, but they might not sell 666 alone. Typical, making you pay the 1k for it lol

............jeez that must be one of the last of that style in existence. I havent seen one in years.

My father bought a silver 1.8GL new in 1981, 571 IZO, good reliable car which he traded for a Sierra 2.0GL in 1983, VSI 300. It however didn't prove as easy to liove with.

Had one of these back in the 80s. They certainly came with plenty of gear for the time including an automatic aeriel and auto boot release, which you usually only got on big Granadas and Jags in 1982.

.......actually the only difference in spec between the 1.6 and the 1.8 was that the 1.8 had alloys, similar to the Granada Ghia wheels of the same era, though not as deeply dished or as nice.

The engines were terrificly reliable, though they were soft, they would splutter on for 150,000 miles puffing out the odd drop of blue smoke !

Nor do the rear headrests. Or the mirrors for that matter. I wouldn't f*ck with that car, there's a smell of supercharged V8 off it.

I know it's going to sound weird, but i've seen that street somewhere on vagdrivers. I'm fairly sure there are two VAG heads living on that street. Will i post it over and see who owns it?
