Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

^ gorgeous car, and lovely colour combo. It has a link to Audi alright, its a Wanderer, (one of the 4 manufacturers who made up Auto Union, hence the 4 ringed Audi symbol). Very similar to this - a Wanderer W23 cabrio of 1938

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wanderer_W23_Cabriolet_1938.jpg

@ carchaeologist - the "W" on top of the grill would point towards a Wanderer

I'm just back from my holiday in Portugal. While there I bumped into the Algarve Classic Car Run twice. The first time was at the recently constructed Autodromo Algarve racetrack near Portimao and the next day in Albufeira. The Cars were amazing ane many extremely rare but the one bad point was the sight of a Renault Alpina being wheeled onto the back of a recovery truck on the side of the road. I've loads of pictures in the link below.
    http://s559.photobucket.com/albums/ss32/CianDon_album/Algarve%20Classic%20Cars%202009/?albumview=grid

BTW. I was amazed at the amount of old cars on the road over there. I saw over 200 Renault 4's, Mantas, Chevettes, 505's and one day I saw a mint condition Datsun Bluebird.

And how many have bitten (or will bite) the dust with this stuppid scrapage scheme they have in the uk?

Here are my pictures from Terenure yesterday. Some lovely cars there, pitty about the showers! Are modern Rolls Royce as classy as the ones on display in the IVVCC area? And an electric car from 1889  I'd read about it, never imagined to se one in Ireland, same with the Pantera and Countach, many other nice cars there.
