Problem trying to retrieve update from AVG

My computer is having trouble retrieving the latest update from AVG. It downloads a certain amount and then all of a sudden comes to a halt. When I try to cancel the update, it will not cancel. Any suggestions anyone? :confused:

Download the updates manually.

I got my update this morning but it was slow. got it all in the end. Their servers may have been slow for a while.

manual is the best bet ,i have been using avg for years and having it on manual update is the best bet ,,the avg servers get clogged up very easily so just check every 2 days and u will be fine.
