Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm trying to reset a laptop's default password policy in xpsp1 but gpedit seems to be read only, I'm logged in as local administrator and disconnected from the network. The rest of gpedit is grand, it's just the Account policy's that seem to be read only, I've also checked the permissions on the policy's but everything seems fine, I searched the registry but couldn't find the appropriate key to edit.

Any ideas would be hugely appreciated.

Are you connected to a domain and logged in as local admin, disconnected from the domain?

Nah laptop is stand alone, but could have been part of a domain in England previously, cant be sure as user is a cabbage and very difficult to get answers out of.
