    I've been chasing Gibbons plumbers for more than a month now and I'm effing sick of it, can anyone recommend someone that can fit a fireplace gas fire for me?

    So while I'm waiting for a reply, let's have a wee discussion:

    Are there any tradesmen in Cork (in the world even) that can be relied upon to:
    • quote for a job without a sharp inhalation of breath;
    • show up for that job when they're supposed to;
    • finish the job in a reasonable amount of time;
    • clean up after them?
    Or are they all just a bunch of lazy, greedy, good-for-nothing slackers that should be locked up for fraud and just plain wasting our frickin' time?

    (DISCLAIMER: I actually drink with some of these guys, and I know that some of them are sound guys that really know their sh*t and really try their best. But let's put common sense aside here today and really vent to the max, ok?)
