Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Clear the run history from a command prompt?

I made up a simple batch file to open a hidden shared folder on a server through a winxp client. I want to be able to, in the same batch file, clear the run history after the folder has been opened.

There is a button to do this in the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties", but how exactly does this button achieve this?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU holds the details of the run history, but deleting any of these entries doesn't seem to clear the run history without a reboot. Yet clearing the history manually through the properties window achieves this without a reboot.

    Suggestions, anyone?
