It looks far too much trouble to be honest. But if you get it working then fair fecks!

you can buy a duoX2 chip for around 15 - 20Euro. MUCH easier!

Hi,

You'll find a nice deal here http://www.cheapmod.net/ and you won't be waiting an eternity, around four working days. And remember to order an lpc rebuild if you're modding a v1.6xbox. The option will be given when at check out.

The lpc rebuild is placed on the under side of the motherboard and helps you to solder the correct points easier, be sure to solder lpc rebuild board first at d0 and the other edge points then insert pin header and solder this to the motherboard as well as the lpc rebuild at the specified points.

These instructions aren't on the duox2 site but it is quite easy...

tbh it's not worth the hastle - chips are cheap anyway just get a ready made one especially if it's your first mod - it only adds another lair of complication
