Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I was asked to have a go so I will,

From the Irish Times (Page 6 sports) this morning:

Shelbourne Chief Executive Ollie Byrne has confirmed that he will be appealing the recent decision of the FAI's licensing committee to deduct eight points from Shamrock Rovers over problems with their accounts.

"They did not have the authority to deduct points and take the license and then say they could stay in football" he said

" I have already informed the FAI and Rovers that I felt the way it was dealt with was wrong"

It would appear he wants the points given back and Rovers booted out of the league as the more appropriate punishment, possibly something to do with wanting a stadium in Tallaght...
