I've agreed a price with someone to buy my car. Does anyone know the appropriate government body that does the change of ownership form?
    Cheers

You fill in the change of ownership details on the back of the registration certificate, sign it, get the buyer to sign it and you send it off to the address on the bottom of it, shannon. If it is more than 10 years old it may have the old style log book in which case you need a change of ownership form which you can probably find on your local co. council website or may find in a local garda station or garage.

Depends on the age of the car, pre 92 is the county council, 93 on its Dept of environment in Shannon. Has it a cardboard book or a paper sheet?
