afternoon folks, have to get the waterpump on my mk4 gti replaced any idea how much this should cost?, its not being done in a main dealer but with a good local mechanic, just wondering how much you would expect it to cost incl labour, just so im not getting ripped off thanks in advance TL

400 minimum, 500 maximum, this includes the pump, timing belt (2)and all the tensioners, and the rubber drive belt for the power stearing pump. they all need changing.

Is the part being supplied via VW or from an independent source? ie GSF who do the 2.0 ltr pump for 25 quid. They have a Dublin warehouse and send through the post. 01 460 6062
