Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    i cant believe i'm asking this. But i need it for my assignment.


    *sigh*

    Oscars (shudder) who was it that was nominated for best actress or something and because she was so young showed up to the event in jeans and a t shirt and was destroyed the next day by the news papers...i need it for an assignment on how the oscars are not about films but a status quo on what the hollywood status quo of success is.

    Not too sure... quick research on Google says Aimee Mann showed up in jeans and T-shirt to perform a couple of years back!

    Keisha Castle-Hughes I suspect, born 1990 nominated for Whale Rider a year or two back. Or possibly Anna Paquin who won for The Piano 1993.

    Definately not Keisha Castle-Hughes, she was well dressed. I dunno about Anna Paquin.

    Was it Brooke Sheilds back in the early 80's( Or late 70's)? Wasn't either Anna PAquin or Keisa Castle-Hughes. Both turned up in lovely gowns!

    There was also Pamela Anderson, not nominated, obviously, who turned up 2 or 3 years ago wearing a shirt (don't think it was buttoned!!) and short short Denim skirt. She hung around Elizabeth Hurley all night!??
