IE Restricted Sites Help

Is there any way of adding restricted sites in bulk to IE or Firefox?? (Im not sure if there is an option in firefox but will swap if there is) I really do not want to enter 5500 sites manually

Edit your HOSTS file to read.

banneddomain1.com 127.0.0.1
banneddomain2.com 127.0.0.1

etc.

This will stop the page from loading.

if its spyware & adware sites you're trying to block, spywareblaster [freeware] will shove in a couple thousand for you. so will spybot.
