Car Maintenance courses??

Hi I just recently got my full licence and I was wondering, as I know nothing about engines or anything of the like, are the car maintenance courses run by the VEC in the evenings any good?? Has anybody done one, where did you do it and what did you think? Thanks!

Do it, it'll give you a nice starting point. And the courses are oriented towards complete novices too.. so it should be easy enough to pick up.. well worth the cash imho.
