I am on the lookout for two beagles preferably puppies, and from the same litter....... If anyone could give me some idea where to start looking, would be much appreciated.....

Your best bet is to have a look at the Irish Kennel Club's website, www.ikc.ie
They can give you information about reputable breeders in your area.
Buying from a newspaper ad that lists more than one breed of dog for sale often means you will be buying from a dealer/puppy farm. Puppy farming is huge in this country (no legislation against it, lots of fake IKC registrations).

Alternatively, there are lots of unwanted dogs looking for homes.
    Have a look here

    http://petsireland.invisionzone.com/index.php?

You can browse dogs offered and after you register (which is free) you can post a "Wanted" message.
Most breeds have their own club who will deal with rehoming unwanted dogs.
