Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Direct service from Belfast - NYC begins today
    May 27, 2005 16:40

The first non-stop scheduled flight between Belfast and New York touched down at Belfast International Airport this morning.

The new direct route, operated by Continental Airlines between Belfast and Newark, was made possible by a joint investment by Air Route Development (a subsidiary of Invest NI) and Belfast International Airport.

Leslie Morrison CEO of Invest Northern Ireland said that there is now quicker access for business people to New York which is important as North America is a key market for local manufacturing companies, accounting for 22% of total NI manufacturing exports.

Paul O'Toole of Tourism Ireland said the new transatlantic service has the potential to greatly boost US visitor numbers.
