Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Encoding some movies using following software.

Taksi records in game footage then Virtual Dub to encode to Xvid and add audio and clean up any black screens. Taksi makes a 160mb AVI than VD encodes to 4mbs then 3ish after cleaning.

    Example

When using Fraps to record in game and Radgametools to encode its comes out at 6mb , its the exact same movie as above.

Is there anything better than VD to encode even smaller?

My present movie file is 16gb :D Encodes to about 700mb thats all my recorded in game footage precleaning.
