Here is my new modded case.

What do you think? Is it too weird or what.
Constructive critiscsm(sp?) is very welcome.

Oh and the front is now modded with a slit cut out for the dvd-rw drive, and two buttons(eyes!) as well. (It looks like a furry face and its mouth opens and tongue sticks out when the dvd drive is open.)

Note that this case is very very big.

I was at a lan last night and there might be another pic of it up on the midlans.net site soon.

As for cooling, it runs at around 30 degrees. My chip is at stock, so it doesnt really heat up much. I dont even have any system fans or anything.

As for getting dirty: well I hope "vanish carpet powerfoam" might work

I think its an old blanket. Static buildup, you say? Well it is a big aluminium case thats well-earthed, so any buildup would dissapate fairly quickly.

Heat problems. Fur is insulative, which is why kitties have it.

as I said, there are no heat problems.
Because, the heat is all directed out through the rear of the case. As with pretty much all computers. 99% of heat in most cases escapes through the rear/front vents. Barely any heat actually dissapates through the sides in any case. (unless, of course you have a fan/window vent in the side). No actual vents in my case are covered with fur, thus the isulation is negligible.

the material is just an old big furry blanket.
tbh, you could prolly get suede material in hickeys or something and make a suede case or something.

I have to keep my bedroom window permanently open and My case is water cooled just to get stable temps @4.32 and your rapping yours up in a Fur coat LOL:D.

Seen some pics of it here 9th or 10th pic down.

But TBH its not my cup of tea
