Summer Frisbee

anyone up for gettin a bit of a regular frisbee jam/ultimate/throwaround goin durin the summer months. any ideas on where? any already in operation

Greetings Dublin Ultimate Community,

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Kevin. I’ve
been playing ultimate with UCD for the last semester
and have thus far had an outstanding ultimate
experience in Dublin and Ireland in general. About a
week ago after we played our last game of the season
with Trinity I suddenly found myself unsure as to
where my next much needed ultimate fix would be coming
from. The idea for a Dublin area summer frisbee was
brought up and after discussing the idea with a few
people throwing something together that would resemble
an organized league at this point of the cusp of
summer didn’t seem like such a far fetched notion. So
that’s pretty much what this is. It is my hope that
in a few weeks time a few teams will be meeting on a
pitch somewhere in Dublin to play the first game of a
brand new summer league, with everyone hitting a bar
after to relax and enjoy each other’s beautiful
company; the thought alone gets me excited.

For this to happen it’s going to take some rapid
responses from anyone and everyone who would like to
be involved. So if you have an interest in playing
some competitive, chilled out and fun warm evening
frisbee please be sure to fill in the simple question
sheet found below and return it to me at
kkb126@psu.edu as soon as possible. Also, please feel
free to pass this letter along to anyone you think
might have an interest in playing ultimate this
summer: co-workers, friends, family, and significant
others are all good choices. Absolutely no experience
is required; Summer League is all about introducing
people to the sport of ultimate so bringing people
with you is strongly encouraged.
