Hmm, the accommodation office seem a bit over zealous announcing that the listings have gone live. I've gotten 3 emails at this stage (all saying the same thing)

Anywho, i called into my new gaf today and this year's guy showed me round. Tis nice, and apparently you can get under the floorboards into a tunnel that runs right along the side of new square, perhaps even to the GMB and beyond.
I can't wait to go exploring next year.

Welll...update time.

I was looking at the Trinity Hall page, and I saw what the rooms were like, and the grounds etc, and I kinda regretted not applying to there, because it might suit me better for first year...

But by fortune, or fate, the people at the accommodation office decided to give me a place there for the upcoming year. Excellent.

so you will be in Trinity Hall next year? where were you before? sorry, i'm terribly nosy. i just got my room in Trinity Hall, very pleased. Modern Twin, ensuite. all in all, much cheaper than any American dorm room, and in all the colleges here you have to share the bathrooms with the whole floor. plus, i couldn't believe the stuff that trinity provides with the rooms. here, they wouldn't even give you a lamp or a bin. you have to buy everything yourself.

Yes, that's the plan. I was mainly living at home last year (to present). Do you know your room number and all that yet? I know mine (but can't make sense of it)..

I can't believe the cost of American university tuition fees either!! It doesn't seem fair to charge that amount, it keeps so many otherwise qualified people out of higher education..and the thought of spending my days in college with a mortgage hanging over my head is just not appealing.

What course are you doing anyways? Make a post in the who's who, go on, go on, go on..

But my room number is in the format Ab.gh.0m - I'm guessing ab = block number, gh = apartment number and 0m = room number, but I may be wrong..is there any way to tell from the numbers what floor the room is on?
