Milan have offered €25million +Dida+ambrosini for Torres and Maxi Rodriguez and have offered to also write off €18million which they are owed by atlethico for the transfers or Javi Moreno, Jose Maria, Contra and the two season loan of colocinni.

Madrid are seriously considering the offer and the strong relationship between the two clubs owners means this is the most likely of all they talk or Either Torres or Maxi leaving Madrid.

So that deal is worth €43million in cash and two players who are easily worth 12million combined, so €55million for two players, if it's true, and I'm assured t is, I can see Torres wearing a Red and Black No. 9 jersey next year!

"Milan have announced the signing of Parma defender Daniele Bonera.

The 25-year-old has signed a four-year deal at the Giuseppe Meazza after Milan agreed an undisclosed fee with Parma.

Bonera has spent the last four seasons with Parma after arriving from Brescia.

The talented central defender has been continually linked with a move away from Parma with Liverpool credited with an interest in Bonera.

Milan have won the chase for his signature and he is set to be unveiled by the Rossoneri on Saturday.

Bonera will help fill the void left by the departure of Jaap Stam at Milan. "

    skysports.

IMHO it's a very good signing, Bonera has been very good for the last 5 years, great attuide, never says die in the tackle, to be honest sky are a little off he mainly plays right back but he is good in the air and very good man marker so I guess he could be a very good centre back...

There were absolutly no roumers about this online or elsewhere it's a total suprise, and that makes me optimistic that Briada and Galliani have more of the same up thier sleeves, Milan are building a squad capable of winning the CL.

Along side the singings of Foggia and Gourcuff earlier in the summer this singing leads me to believe that Carlo is building younger squad (Gourcuff was Rui Costa's replacement as Kaka's alternitive, and foggia can play right across the middle) I've very very happy!

Valencia schemer Pablo Aimar has left Valencia to join Real Zaragoza in a €11 million (£7.5 million) deal.

The talented Argentina international had fallen out of favour at Estadio Mestalla but his reputation is such in Spain that his capture will be seen as a noticeable coup for Zaragoza.

Aimar has put pen-to-paper on a four-year deal and will take home €1.5 million (£1 million) a year for his exertions having concurred on personal terms with Real officials.

During his stay at Valencia Aimar picked up two Liga titles, a Uefa Cup and a European Super Cup as he quickly established himself as a keen favourite of the club's faithful.

On his day, Aimar, who made only fleeting cameo appearances at the World Cup, has proven he has few equals and he will be eager to capture such form in the somewhat less intense surrounds of Zaragoza.

    And Carlos to Fenerbache?

Reports in Spain claim that Roberto Carlos is on the brink of completing a move to Fenerbahce.

The news comes as something of a shock with the Brazilian set to snub a contract extension at Real, and the chance of a move to Chelsea, to join the Turkish outfit.

The 33-year-old has spent ten years at the Santiago Bernabeu having joined from Internazionale in the summer of 1996.

He has made nearly 350 appearances for Los Merengues scoring some 44 goals, but the association is now seemingly at an end.

Carlos was offered a lucrative two-year deal by Chelsea prior to the World Cup, but with The Blues having turned their attention to Ashley Cole he has now agreed terms with Fener.

Ironically, his imminent departure could see Madrid attempt to hijack Chelsea's move for Cole with the Spanish giants having been linked with the England international in the past.

Carlos' repeated flirtations with the Londoners seemed to sour his relationship with Real and their fans and made his impending exit this summer almost inevitable.

    Both from skysports website.

Very good signing IMO, and at those wages??? €30k a week is a steal, considering what's being paid in the PL...

[edit]when they say "take home" do they mean after tax?[/edit]

Man City are close to capturing Swedish international keeper Andreas Isaksson from Rennes as a replacement for the Pompey bound David James. Great piece of business from Pearce, sell a 36 year old and buy a 26 year old international with the proceeds.

Hesselink signed for Celtic in the last few minutes. He's exactly the type of player the team needs.

No, he started signing his name in the last few minutes. Could take him up to a week to finish.

    :D

It's a hectic day for Celtic. Lee Naylor was also signed to add to the 2,352 mediocre left backs Celtic have had. While the Chief Exec, Lawell, was sorting out their deals Strachan was seen by a few people in the Hilton hotel. Word has it he was talking to Graveson's agent.

How wrong was I on Naylor.

Anyway, I love this time of year. :) All over Japanese papers that Spurs have had a bid of £6.7m for Nakamura rejected. Man Utd also interested.

Celtic also look to have Scott Brown (great player):
    15 May 2007
    CELTS LAND £4.4M BROWN
EXCLUSIVE Hibs star agrees 5-year deal worth £25k a week
By James Traynor And Keith Jackson

CELTIC last night won the race to sign Hibs midfield dynamo Scott Brown.

The transfer of the 21-year-old, the hottest property in Scottish football, will be confirmed today.

Hibs have accepted a £4.4million offer for the Scotland star who will earn a massive £25,000 a week on a five-year deal.

It's a dream move for a player paid just £2000 at Easter Road.

Celtic and Rangers have been linked with Brown all season but the Parkhead men stepped up their efforts after we revealed that prepared to pay as much as £5.5million to snare Scotland's hot test property.

At one stage yesterday Brown was on his way across the M8 to Glasgow after the Parkhead club had a massive £4.6m offer accepted by Petrie.

But mysteriously Petrie then withdrew permission for the player to meet with Lawwell.

It remains unclear whether Celtic's offer has been topped by a rival bidder, with Boro and Reading both in contention.

In fact, Reading have emerged as a serious possibility with an offer that is believed to be marginally higher than Celtic's.

Middlesbrough's bid is made less attractive by the fact a huge part of the £5.5m fee is made up of add-ons.

Payment of those would depend on how successful Brown is on Teesside. The Premiership outfit have so far only been willing to come up with an initial fee of £4.2m.

Rangers have had a longstanding offer of £3.4m on the table.

Their bid was made back in January on the last day of the transfer window. Ibrox boss Walter Smith remains a huge admirer of the player he capped for Scotland.

However, chairman David Murray is unlikely to be able to come up with the kind of cash other clubs now appear willing to shell out.

Boro have already set aside a basic wage packet worth £25,000 a week to Brown and it is believed Celtic are prepared to match those terms with a contract worth £1.3m a year.

It now remains to be seen whether Riverside chiefs are willing to revise their original bid and top Celtic's £4.6m offer for a player manager Gareth Southgate has identified as apriority target.

Boro's chief executive Keith Lamb denied that a formal offer had been tabled for Brown.

But he said: "We have had discussions with Hibernian about the player but he is one of many on our manager's list of potential targets."

What chance does that league have if its best players are just bought by the Old Firm ,

Anyway , any truth that Jason Byrne could be joining Cork in July?

Willie Mackay (agent) on Real Radio trying to sell Joey Barton. He has a £5.5m release clause in his contract. Celtic, Newcastle, Spurs and Everton all interested. Champions league football is a big factor.
