O.K simple question we have one site

    http://www.weathercheck.net

    and another non associated site

    http://www.metcheck.com

Remember that they are both weather websites when making your decision:

Are these sites similar in there design and approach?

What makes you think they are both weather websites?

They are similar in that both have some images on the right and text on the left, if that's what you're asking.

metcheck is more detailed from first glance.

Similar in approach.. both present summary weather data, however metcheck seems to provide a number of usefull tools/lookup utilities on the front page.

Not similar in design. Metcheck have clearly done a lot more thinking/planning about their design than weathercheck, with the latter lacking somewhat in design.

Anyway, what's with all the posts about your site?!

Can you slow down the animation. Looks like a "cloudy with gale force winds"
Tough to look at this early in the morning.

Metcheck looks a lot better. Probably because it's not left aligned and the style displays correctly in firefox

    That sig is extremely unkind.

And Weathercheck; I resent it being implied that I'm mature ;)

Hmm, even if it is true, there's no need to applaud him for search engine spam. Haven't seen anything original on that site yet.

You are, as far as I can see, basically taking content from other sites (including, bizarrely, a secure US Military site with expired SSL cert.) for the purpose of drawing traffic to your site that would otherwise be going to your site, while providing no particular added value to the user.

I have permission from the American site your talking about and
    have the email to suit.

My site is not meant to be remarkable simple a weather site
for easy use by weather enthusiasts im afriad i dont have
all the money to provide such features in my own right.
In the future i hope i will be able to afford such things.

Thanks rsynnott your observations have been especially helpful ;)
