Hey i got an AMD 3500+ with an MSI nForce 4 SLI Board.
But i cant seem to change the Ratio.

I got the FSB up to 220 but my ram is 500Mhz.
So naturally i want to get the FSB to 250.
So i thought about changing the multiplier.
Any idea what exactly i should change?

    Drop the multi to 10x = 2Ghz, increase the FSB to 250 = 2.5Ghz
Don't forget to drop the HTT to 4x, set the DDR voltage to whatever your RAM supports. If it's 2.8V set it to that, disable "Spread Spectrum" within BIOS also...it's not nesscary and hinders overclocking.

If you CPU voltage is set to normal try upping the voltage to 1.450V...but don't go mad and add too much voltage.

    The HTT?
Dont have to touch Voltages or anything?

3500 Winnie should be safe around 1.450V, the HTT = Hyper Transport. 200 x 5 = 1000HTT, standard. Dropping the HTT won't make any difference at all...in fact you still be running at 1000HTT.

    Thats the Ram.
    Thanks for all the help.
Gotta try find out its optimal voltage somehow.

    Just read the Manual...
    Does 2.75 sound right?

2.75V is the max voltage for the memory, setting it to 2.8V won't be a problem. BIOS normally defaults to the standard 2.5V so you'll need to increase it with whatever options the MSI board has.

    Thanks for that.
I will give it a try once i get my ass home.

If anything blows up ill let ya know.

    I also have good watercooling...
Couldnt find where to change RAM voltages.

lower your multiplier to 8 and put your ram up in small incriments, 5mhz at a time.
that way you aren't overclocking the cpu, only the ram. read the sticky. It tells you how to do it step by step

The highest I'd put into a winnie would be 1.55v, for fear of killing it with extended use at anything higher. Mine is at 1.5 on an xp-90, not too hot.
