:mad: Thats a bit harsh. Some people may be on medication that may make them put on weight, or they may have a thyroid prob or some other medical problem that may encourage weight gain.

Its a bit of a waste of money though , A healthy diet and regular exercise is just as effective and a much better long term solution .

Thyroid problems can be controlled using medication. Most people with thyroid issues lose most of the excess weight within 12 months of being diagnosed as having an underactive thyroid. Or they can use iodine in the form of kelp, which will do the same thing.

Generally people who find particular medications cause them to lose weight tend to seek alternatives.

Having said that it is medically established that less than 5% of people who put on weight do so for reasons OTHER than overeating and lack of exercise.

Liposuction is largely for lazy people with too much money to spend.
Of course if they don't diet and exercise (which is highly unlikely in most cases) they'll eventually pile it all back on again.
Nice little earner for the cosmetics industry of course, as they will have to go back time and time again at thousands a pop.
