Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    A brief history of Spiral Tribe ;)

    Very brief history of Spiral Tribe:

    Spiral Tribe was formed by Mark Harrison, his brother Xander and Debbie (dunno her surname). They started putting on free parties in the winter of 1990. As they went on more people 'joined' Spiral Tribe... among them Simon Carter (Earth Leakage Trip), DJ Aztek, MC Scallywag (the mc on Xenophobia - rush in the house) . By 1992 the free festival rave scene was huge and Spiral Tribe signed to Big Life (Virgin) - the result of which was The Breach The Peace EP and a proposed album. The record deal money was spent on a mobile recording studio. By late 1992 Spiral Tribe were getting alot of hassle from the Police so they went to France. They became massive France and did parties all over Europe. They disbanded in 1996.

    they were still doin the rounds in some shape or form in 1997
    i have a flyer of theirs which i picked up in san francisco in late july 97.

    optical was a spiral tribe dj as was his brother matrix... optical ran one of the sublabels, before going on to bigger and better things as a drum and bass producer...

    Yeah Optical went on to produce some quality Drum n Bass alright :)
