still if I don't feel right in my underwear I won't feel right for the day...I attach great importance to it. And nightwear.

On the other hand, depending on the guy, I'm not against said purchases (provided you aim for M&S or etam lingerie) but as long as it's open I think I've only seen one thing I like in Ann Summers.

The guy who wanted me to wear a gold thong is not to be trusted to go shopping for underwear for me on his own.

Guess it's like anything - he gets it right, wonderful, he gets it wrong, cold porridge for breakfast.

Buy your stuff from figleaves.co.uk ... There is some real quality there, you can always get money off vouchers by searching google, they deliver free to ireland in a few days ... and you can send the stuff back (as long as you don't try it on!) for free (i think)... never needed to send anything back though

How do I know if it fits right if I haven't tried it on? That'd be my main reason for sending stuff back, bad fit.

I wouldn't mind if my bf bought me lingerie from anywhere, so long as it wasn't that very tacky red colour, a deep red is nice but some reds are awful.

But I trust him to get something I'd like at this stage.

Totally with ya on the scratchy lace thing , Im open to most colours though so long as its not like yellow or that naff bright red , Although if he went to the effort of buying it , Id defo wear it for him , I couldnt just say oh get away thats well minging , I might be a bit like hmm not my thing but like hes made the effort so I mayaswell too

yeah, i'd put it on; chances are its not gonna be on long anyway... and if it is there's a problem!!

Ahhhhhh .............. purchasing sexy lingerie, probably my most favourite thing to do

As I always say, a girl can never have enough sexy lingerie. In fact, at this stage, I would need a Mariah Carey style wardrobe for everything I own.

In my experience, I find Victoria's Secret to be the best of the lot (you'd swear I was working for them with the amount of times I promote them!). Everything is excellent quality, great fit, hot hot hot hot hot! Things are not too expensive - about $40 for a bra, maybe around the $20 mark for matching panties.

Did I say hot hot hot!

Not too gone on Ann Summers now to be honest. Their stuff is overpriced and icky. It's been a very rare occasion that I found something hot but not trashy in Ann Summers.

As for Agent Provocateur - wouldn't be too gone on that either, because it's ridiculously overpriced, and the stuff there isn't that nice anyway - I've seen far better on Victoria's Secret.

Someone mentioned a figure of €500 somewhere on this thread. €500 for what exactly? If it's on like one set then that's outrageous. But I could quite easily spend that on VS buying loads and loads of stuff
