Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

Im gonna be buying a couple of books for a few people to do selfstudy and then sit the exams for a few of the microsoft MCP certs. Have found loads of books on amazon ebay etc but would like some feedback from anyone that has done the exams and which books they used and found decent. I myself used the official microsoft stuff when i did my mcps but found them pretty heavy going compared to some other books i seen so any feedback would be great.

    Exams are below:

Microsoft Exam 70-270—Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Microsoft Exam 70-282—Planning, Deploying, and Managing a Network Solution for the Small and Medium-sized Business

Microsoft Exam 70-290—Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment

I'm trying to do the MCSE2003, and have done the 5 day course for 70 - 290 but haven't got round to the exam yet... sooo much study :(

I bought the Microsoft Press books and agree that they are heavy going, but from the sample exams I have done, you need to know it all to pass!
