Streaming football

I suppose this could go in the soccer forum as well, I think I'd get a better answer in here though. Has anyone used any of the streaming football sites? http://www.soccerstreams.com/ was a free one but its down at the moment. Other ones ask for a small fee (£1.50, £2.50) Anyone know what these ones are like? Is it just a con or do you get good quality watchable on a tv screen? Is there commentating and if so what channel? Here's a couple I've found to give you an idea what I'm talking about:

    http://www.watch-football.tv/
    http://www.streamingfootball.co.uk/

Now that we have decent 2mb download speeds these sites would be very useful :)

Can't say it will be the exact same for soccer, but the brother has a subscribtion to watch the baseball league in the states using a 1mb line (NTL) and its actually quite good even when the resolution is at full screen.

I subscribed last season. It worked well until a few games before the end of the season the owner shut it down due to "external pressure".
I presume he was being leant on by the TV companies (most probably Murdoch). Anyway, it was good while it lasted and it's not as if you pay much for it.
One thing I did find though is that the Saturday game was on RTE or Setanta anyway.

So you don't get all the games? What was the commentary like?

You basically join a forum and links are posted a few minutes before the match. It all depends what is being streamed. If it's a Sky/RTE/Setanta game you get their commentary, but I did watch a few with arabic etc. picture is very small aswell, and sometimes with buffering.
