Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi guys,

Just a quick rallying call to all those in the general Carlow/Kilkenny/Waterford areas. As I'm sure you're all well aware, the ridiculous state of the existing club licensing laws and the seemingly draconian attitiude of the current government to alcohol consumption and club opening hours has led to the establishement of the lobby/pressure group Give Us The Night (www.giveusthenight.com).

Our campaign has reached a critical stage with Minister McDowell's impending reform and change of the existing laws and as such, we are now looking for volunteers in the South East area to help advance awareness of our cause by way of a large-scale poster and flyer drop.

Any help from the members of this board would be greatly appreciated even you could only spare an hour some Saturday afternoon - let's break the mould and instead of sitting around bemoaning our raw deal while the rest of Europe parties - lets DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!

Remember, it's in all our interests!!
