    Hi All,

Just wanted to get parent's opinions on the Stay Safe aspect of the SPHE curriculum. Do you find it worthwhile? Has it raised your child's awareness/ability to protect themselves? Any feedback would be useful!

    Thanks,
    Colm

I am aware of the stay safe program but honestly the ground work has to be done at home by the parent first. Building confidence and establishing clear boundaries about what is and is not acceptible behaviour starts at home.

But I do think that there should be more parental involvement so that all parents are aware of the proceedure and phrases that are used.
Hate to think of a kid using the phraes and the parent beng oblivious and the child having to stuggle in a class of 24 or more to get a teachers notice.
