Skate Board park on the Cork Road

I'm curious is it even being used anymore, when I used to come to work via Superquinn the odd time I used to see people in their skating around in it, But now I only come back from work via the Cork Road. But in the past year I hasn't seen any kids using it, I'm not a skate boarder but I see it as a total waste of money…

Alcoholism is`nt the issue I have , the seats being wrecked in the plaza from people skating and bmxing off of them is.
The plaza is not a skatepark ok , The plaza was not put there to be wrecked .
Making bits of the seats skateboarding off them is still damage whatever way ya look at it.
Fair enough theres a lack of facilities but that doesnt leave the way open to wrecking public area`s.
I dont buy this bored teenager crap either . They should get the people making bits of the plaza into a job thatd keep em unbored and give em money to pay for the public property their damaging.
