satellite dish setup questions?

Have gotten a lidl job satellite dish and receiver box from a friend, but no matter how I try I cant seem to get it to work. I have been told that it works but all I can manage to get is white noise. Even after seting it up as the instructions say and using a sat finder to point the dish in the propper direction, but still…

Hmm. What satellite do you intend to pick up? I'll assume you want Astra 2 (28 degrees east of south), for BBC etc.

What are you using to connect the box to your TV? Can you get the menu's etc?

Anyway, for better help, try posting in Hosted > ICDG > Satellite
