I got full speed off Gamespot #1.

The EA ftp is very slow which is very annoying as it has the server mirrors so we have been unable to setup a server yet

Only jsut started to play with the settings now . You will need to all create an account to play online aswell. Doesnt take that much effort but was a little bit of a bitch to get working.

Fileplanet Subscribers thing, it's a closed beta. Course if you are a subscriber (The only reason I'm one is because I managed to get a free life-time account! Mwahahahaha, well a good few years account free anyway..) they've re-opened the beta. Just sign-up to it and you'll get your key. 400mb download I think

Any first impressions? Sound effects are top class, Im running around a bit lost( as expected) No kick a*ss music on demo, It has a slight P.O.E. feel about it.

The chopper whoring days are over for me for a while anyways, i think i took off and backflipped right into the ocean lol, But i remember the days when just taking off in BFV were nasy experiences.

So far i wont be binning BFV, thats for sure.

The load time is far far better than i could of imagined so good i think Ea has optimized the livening sh*t out of the map for the demo that or gamespot have truly awful pc's which seem's unlikely, graphics are amazing and its as smooth as half life 2 only problem i have is the choppers which have awful controls imho.

Anyone know if we carry over our new accounts to the full game? and if we can edit them? as i need to add TIG to my account nick.

I had problems as well creating the account. If it looks like its hanging, just click the screen and do recover account. Chances are its created but just not finishing the job.

I'm having problems with a small stutter. When I turn, the game freezes for a second or two and then plays again. Really makes it unplayable. I've seen other people have the same problem but as yet no fix. It's nothing to do with specs I reckon cause the problem still occurs on low settings although less frequently. Between the stutter, the game runs fine.
