Anyone else catch this show on UTV, was this nights Tonight episode... what a joke.

    It featured the following:
A 12 year old child speaking on behalf of children everywhere on what they like to do with their time and money.
An experiment which proved that someone under the influence of cannibis is a little slower than someone who is sober....
A child psycologist who said that she'd prefer her daughter to be smoking heroin than "skunk" (an apparently more powerful varient of what we all know as hash).
A man who says that he has voices in his head since he smoked Skunk.
Parents who blame their childrens mental problems on skunk.
Claims that cannibis makes you more aggressive.

    I'm probably missing something too.
Really stupid stuff. The guy who took an IQ test was above average when sober has smoked hash since he was 11... no one mentioned the fact that a decade of use has had no apparent effect on his long-term intelligence, they just showed that hash has the effect it's supposed to have.
The issue that people have always suffered from mental disorders was not covered and no stats were given to suggest that cases have risen at all, and if they had if it was a result of drug use.
The heroin line doesn't need to be commented upon, I almost wish someone she cared about did get addicted to heroin so she'd learn about the damage it does compared to hash.
The kid was talking about drinking and smoking hash, and mentioned that there's nothing else for people his age to do... of course that's not the bigger issue at all, is it?

I'm just enraged by the whole thing. There were no facts or figures, just kids talking about their chav mates and what they do on the weekend. As well as some people who probably had underlying disorders and now blame something that is an enhancer for setting it off even though there's nothing to suggest or prove that it did cause it.

    Grrrr.
