Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if it is a non wireless modem/router whatever you have -

Infastructure wireless networking using a wirless router

Set it to bridge to a Wirless router - connect the cat 5 cable to the uplink port on the router.

    Create a wireless network -

If the laptop does not have a wireless mini pci card in buy a pcmcia wireless card install it.

Configure the nic - ssid name - wep/wpa password and channel (most nics find the channel auto)

were to buy it - Komplett

what you need wirless nic or pcmcia

    Wireless router.

    bundel

Linksys are easy enough to setup and configure

Network cable - you will need to connect this to the router,

the you can create a ssid on the router, dhcp out if needed
