    it's always interesting to see how the media use stories - which story will be run throughout the papers and radio and TV programmes; which will be started by RTE and picked up by News Talk and vice versa.

    This story was broken by Mary Raftery in The Irish Times, in a front page off-lead. Now Eoghan Harris has covered it, also as a front page story, this time a bottomer, in the Sunday Independent.

    Both superbly written, both keen and incisive on the facts.
