Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a D-link access Point connected to my desktop pc using an Ethernet cable and a laptop with Belkin wireless notebook network card in it, the Laptop is connecting to the desktop pc ok, great signal etc, but gives me a warning message that there is limited connectivity as the network did not assign a network address to the computer! how do I get it to do this ?

Sounds like there is no DCHP server.

Try using a static IP address like 192.168.0.20

does you router handle dhcp ?

What way does your desktop get its Ip adress

On the laptop press "start" then "run" type "ipconfig /all" check the nic has a ip adress.
